| When did you decide to play in a band? |
I don’t really have an exact date or age when I said, "… ok, I’m
going to be in a band…" I guess it was a natural progression from formal training to eventually, as most do,
getting into a band and wanting to be a rock star(ugh).
|
| What music background/Influences do you have? |
I'm not sure what I started, but I do remember beating on cigar boxes at 3. It was all downhill from there.
I was the stereotypical drummer kid, playing on pots, pans, coffee cans, etc... Growing up,
I played in the concert, jazz, and marching bands while in school, along with a drum corp.
I am influenced by every drummer I hear and see. Even the crappy ones. Where do you think I get my crappy chops. :-)
|
| Do you play any other instruments? |
No |
| From where do you draw your inspiration? |
I’m not very inspired… I just play. |
| How do you warm-up before a show? |
Stretch a little. |
| What, when and where was the most memorable concert you've ever played? |
There have been many shows that were great. I can’t really say that there is one that was the best. They all have had there high and low
points.
|
| What was the worst concert you've played? |
See 'memorable concert' answer, invert. |
| What was the first album you bought? |
Kiss Alive II |
| All-time favorite albums? |
Dream Theater (all, I can’t choose just one), Painkiller (Judas Priest), Fair Warning
(VH), Cross of Changes (Enigma), Vulgar Display of Power (Pantera), Even Now (Barry Manilow), The
Gathering (Testament), Operation Mindcrime (QR), Rage For Order (QR), Sound of White Noise (Anthrax),
